(9-15-23) Shawndale and Donald Chilcoat (Celina) have been given a bench warrant to appear in person on October 4th in Federal District Court in Washington DC.
The Chilcoats failed to appear at a September 5th status hearing, planned to be via a Zoom call, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, although court records seem to show the couple was not entirely at fault.
The Chilcoats were not made aware of the judge’s order. Donald and Shawndale Chilcoat’s attorneys told the court they were “unable to connect” with their clients regarding the change. The Chilcoats have been representing themselves during this process.
The Chilcoats were arrested last August for being among those who on January 6th, 2021 entered the Capitol building and were arrested in August.
