(6-29-23) The debate continues on both sides about Saturday’s Small Town Pride event at the City of Celina’s Lakeshore Park.

From the Celina Daily Standard commenting on Monday’s City Council Meeting on the event –

City council members on Monday night heard complaints about the Small Town Pride festival held on Saturday including allegations of a physical assault, an inappropriate display of a drag performer’s buttocks and being denied access to festival grounds.

According to both sides on social media it was not a very ‘family friendly‘ type of event.

What was supposed to be a day of celebration for those who can finally feel comfortable about who they are, turned into a day of hatred from a specific group. Whether you support the lgbtq+ community, or not
