UPDATE: A Portion Of SR 127 In Van Wert County Closed

UPDATE as of 3:45 pm: The route is reopened. Crews, thank you for the quick response.

(5-1-23) A portion of SR 127 has been closed between U.S. Route 224 and Fife Road in Van Wert County, due to several utility poles and utility lines being down. The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office said to expect a long closure. The notice was issued today at around 12 noon.

Van Wert County: U.S. 127 is closed between U.S. 224 and SR 114 due to downed power lines and poles. Estimates are 6 to 8 hours till reopening.
Detour: U.S. 224 to SR 637 to SR 114, back to U.S. 127.
