HARTFORD CITY, Ind. (4-29-23) — Blackford County Coroner Zach Crouch is seeking the public’s assistance in confirming the identity of a body that was found late Thursday afternoon in a wooded area north of Hartford City.

According to Crouch-

“Due to the condition of the deceased, we are unable at this time to confirm his identity.”

Items found at the scene indicate the body could be that of Douglas Hall, born in 1951.

Anyone with information that could help locate Hall’s relatives is asked to call Crouch at 765-348-7236.
