UPDATED: Fire Departments On The Scene In Ft. Recovery

According to Southwest Mercer Fire Department officials, the building is a complete loss, four employees who were working in the building at the time the fire started evacuated safely…no injuries reported. Fire remains under investigation.

(4-22-23) Firefighters and medics were dispatched around 5:15 p.m. this afternoon on initial reports of a fire at JR Manufacturing at the 900 block of Industrial Drive in Ft. Recovery.

Around 100 firefighters are on the scene…including Burkettsville, St Henry, Coldwater,, Rossburg, Union City, Versailles, New Bremen, Minster and Jay County Indiana Fire Departments.

JR Manufacturing has 500 employees between their three locations in Ft. Recovery, OH, Manchester, TN, and Aguascalientes, Mexico.
