Darke County General Health District To Distribute Free Narcan…For Some Opioid Users

(3-19-23) The Darke County General Health District will distribute free Narcan for certain opioid users.

To qualify, the department gave the following guidelines:

A voluntary request from a family member, friend, peace officer, or other person in a position to assist an individual who there is reason to believe is at risk of experiencing an opioid-related overdose can also be made.

Those interested in the free Narcan distribution and who meet the guidelines can contact the department at 937-548-4196 ext. 235.
