(1-10-23) The Mercer County District Library, with locations in Celina, Marion, Mendon, and St. Henry, is excited to announce a series of free ebook classes, teaching patrons how to use the app Libby. The Libby app is free and allows library users to borrow ebooks and eaudiobooks from their library with just a few taps on their ereader, smartphone, or tablet. It’s a convenient and easy way to access thousands of titles anytime, anywhere.
Classes will be held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, January 26th through the 28th at all four library locations. Specific times
Library IT Specialist Eric Lochtefeld
“We like to offer these ebook classes after the holidays as many patrons purchase or receive ereaders as gifts this time of year. Many patrons also make new year’s resolutions to read more and one way to help do that is by using eaudiobooks.”
Attendees will learn how to set up their account, search for and borrow ebooks, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and enjoy a slice of cake. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn about this valuable resource and expand your reading options. Registration is preferred at Register.MercerLibrary.org or by calling 419-586-4442 but walk-ins will be welcomed. Patrons unavailable to make one of these classes may contact the library to setup a one-on-one training anytime throughout the year.
