(12-14-22) The Celina Kiwanis wrapped up a busy November with their annual Reindog Breakfast and Parade. The club thanks Grand Lake UMC—St. Paul’s for the use of their facilities and Mark Armstrong for his valuable assistance and endless patience. They would also like to thank the following volunteers: Craig and Gavin Broering, William and Katelyn Fuelling, Nevaeh Peters and Payton Howard. The members greatly appreciate the cooperation of the Celina Public School and IC kindergarten and first grade teachers with the coloring contest. The many wonderful creations by their students made judging a genuine pleasure but a difficult task.
Earlier in the month, the club had a “Guess the Score” drawing for the OSU/Michigan game. Nikki Riley came closest to guessing the final score. At the combined Division 2 and 3 meeting, the Celina Kiwanis donated $350 to the First Family Project, creating “Komfort” bags for foster children. They hope to complete their bags before Christmas.
