(11-1-22) Jorden Mumaw (31) of Rossburg was indicted by a Shelby County grand jury on October 27th after a two-vehicle crash that caused the death of Russia High School boys basketball coach David Borchers.

Mumaw’ is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs of abuse and operating a motor vehicle with a specified concentration of alcohol for causing the death of Borchers.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred when Mumaw drove left of center while traveling northbound on state Route 66 in Loramie Township and struck Borchers’ vehcile on October 8th while he was traveling southbound.
Mumaw is due to appear in Shelby County Common Pleas Court on Monday November 21st for his arraignment.
