(10-31-22) Karla Butler was recently selected as the Rockford Chamber of Commerce 2022 – Citizen of the Year.

Butler is a lifelong resident of the Rockford area. She has been involved in different organizations within the community as well as Mercer and Van Wert counties. Throughout the years she has used her time and talents to serve and has made a positive difference where needed.

On Saturday – October 29th – she was recognizedas the lead person in the Helping Hands Thrift Store and Parkway Ministerial Food Pantry. Her dedication to these programs has been instrumental in their success. She is a prime example of someone who ‘lives generously‘ serving others.
