(10-14-22) The Celina City Schools Board of Education on Monday night will look to approve the hiring of current Van Wert Schools Treasurer/CFO Michelle Mawer as Treasurer.

Mawer, a Paulding native and Defiance College Graduate, will take over for Tom Sommer, who was named the interim treasurer, after Darren Jenkins resigned after less then a year in that position.
Mawer was named the Treasurer/CFO in Van Wert in October of 2019. Before moving to Van Wert she was the Treasurer at Coldwater for 8 years. Mawer also worked in the Dayton Public Schools for 8 years as a Budget Director and the Payroll Manager.
