Celina City Schools Treasurer Makes Sudden Departure

(8-25-22) Less then one year after being hired to replace retiring Celina City Schools Treasurer Tom Sommers…Darren Jenkins in a sudden exit has resigned his position. No information was made available on why he decided to step down, but he did list the cause as ‘personal reasons’.

His last day will be on September 26th.

The attached resignation was added to the 8-24-22 Board Meeting Agenda yesterday following an Executive Session.
