From Celina City Schools – 9-22-22 –

CHS Students and Families,

Unfortunately, we must revert back to the altered pick-up/drop off locations for tomorrow, Friday, September 23, 2022, as the Johnson Street paving project continues. We were told that we should be able to return to the original pick-up/drop off locations on Monday, September 26, 2002.

Holly Street and the CHS front drive will be CLOSED to all traffic except buses and school staff from 6:50 am – 7:30 am and 1:45 pm – 2:35 pm.

The northwest student parking lot behind the CAPT Building will be CLOSED due to no access during the paving project. Consequently, all student drivers should plan to park in the east student parking lot.

Junior and Senior student drivers exiting the parking lot after their 7th period, at 1:55 pm will be required to turn right onto Wayne Street to keep traffic moving.

Buses 15, 21, 7, 17, 31, and 24 will park nose to tail in the front drive of CHS and

Buses 8, 2, 16, 1, 14, 33, 10, 28, 25, and 6 will park nose to tail in their typical west CHS teacher parking lot for all CMS and CHS. CMS students will be escorted to and from the alternative pick-up and drop off locations.

All CMS and CHS car riders must be dropped off/picked up using the CHS east student parking lot. Please plan to make the big loop around the parking lot to drop off CMS students in front of the CAPT Building and drop off CHS students in front of the cafeteria doors. Please do not cut through the parking lot as student drivers will be parking and walking through the lot to enter the building and many walkers also cut through this lot.
