(6-1-22) The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying the person in these photos. This woman may have information about a theft that took place in Montezuma. The suspect in the theft case stole a purse and attempted to purchase $1,500 worth of Visa gift cards with the victim’s credit card. The suspect parked their white SUV in the Aldi’s parking lot and walked across the street to Walmart to commit this crime. This same suspect is also a suspect in a similar theft case out of New Bremen.
