Mercer County Sheriff’s Office Adds New K9 Officer

(5-26-22) The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office announced the addition of a second K-9 officer Hex to the office.

Hex began his training in April of this year and was released from training this past week.

Hex is a 2 year old German Shepherd and his handler is Deputy Spencer Heinl, who joined the Sheriff’s office in 2019.
