(2-9-22) On February 9, 2022 at approximately 11:15 A.M. Darke County Deputies along with Gettysburg Fire and Rescue and CareFlight responded to the 8400 block of Horatio-New Harrison Road for a 4-Wheeler crash.  

Preliminary investigation revealed a red TRX-500 Honda 4-Wheeler, driven by Christopher Waybrant (45) of Bradford was traveling Northbound on Horatio-New Harrison Road when the 4-Wheeler rolled ejecting the driver onto the roadway. 

Waybrant was taken to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight for serious injuries.  Waybrant was not wearing a helmet. 

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
