(7-23-21) Now that pandemic restrictions have been lifted, the Celina Kiwanis have added more activities to their summer schedule.

Rita Schmit and Brad Brookhart working at the chicken dinner.
They held their first chicken dinner early in July, making over a $1000 in profit. After this success, the club voted to make it a permanent fundraiser.
Much of the rest of the month was spent preparing for the Lake Festival. In addition to their stand, the club will have a car in the parade.
The members voted to continue meeting the first and third Wednesdays of the month during the 2021—2022 year, but they will resume having speakers.
The club donated $250 to local charities.
They look forward to an equally busy August. For more information about the Kiwanis Club of Celina, like them on Facebook or find them at k16309.site.kiwanis.org/.
