(3-23-21) Tomorrow (3-24-21) will mark the anniversary of the first known COVID-19 case in Mercer County. The MCHD would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to our community, county, regional, and state partners, and our volunteers who have assisted and supported the health department in various COVID-19 response activities.
The COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled for tomorrow was fully booked, but there have been a few cancellations. Anyone interested in filling these vacancies can register online at https://www.eventbrite.com/myevent?eid=146924833131 before midnight tonight. The MCHD will not be offering a first dose clinic next week due to the Easter Holiday weekend. Only second doses will be administered on Wednesday, March 31. The next first dose clinic will be offered on Wednesday, April 7. Further information on that clinic will be released next week.
As the COVID-19 vaccine distribution increases, additional providers will receive the vaccine. A list of nearby locations to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine can be found here: https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov/ .
