(9-28-20) Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies are credited with potentially saving the life of a passenger (Bobby Hastings Of Kenton) from a burning vehicle following a crash around 1am Saturday (9-26-20) morning.

Frederick Justice of Kenton was driving south on County Route 175 and failed to stop for a stop sign at State Route 309.
The car continued through the intersection onto the Memorial Park Golf Course, became airborne, struck a tree and then caught fire.
Justice was able to exit the car on his own.
A passenger, identified as Bobby Hastings Of Kenton, had to be freed from the vehicle with the help of the deputies..
Justice and Hastings were both taken by Lifeflight Helicopter to a Regional Trauma Center.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by BKP Ambulance District, Kenton Fire Department, Forest Fire Department and Minnichs Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
