(9-10-20) Mercer Health’s Center for Healthy Weight and Wellness is now offering three free meal planning options for the community. The menus, developed by Registered Dietitians at the Mercer Health Center for Healthy Weight and Wellness, use MyPlate guidelines and include fruits and vegetables, fiber and healthy fats and nutrient dense foods. Meals include shelf-stable items and can be customized, based on your needs. Options include:
- A full four week meal plan (includes breakfast, lunch, supper and snacks)
- A two week meal plan for school lunches
- A one week slow cooker meal plan.

“The start of school and fall activities brings a new schedule, a new routine and an adjustment period as we settle in. We all know that good nutrition is an important part of staying healthy and maintaining a strong immune system, but remembering how to apply that knowledge when grocery shopping and deciding what to make for dinner can be difficult, especially in busy seasons.”
The meal planning program includes menus, grocery shopping lists and recipes for each plan.
