CELINA- (8-14-20) Mercer County Health District (MCHD) released monthly numbers since March and the start of the pandemic of confirmed COVID 19 cases.
With just two weeks in August there has already been 158 confirmed cases reported in Mercer County. So far July has the highest number of confirmed cases with 239 cases.
Mercer County, according to the Governor, leads the state with highest number of cases per capita (100,000) and remains at a Level 3 risk level.

As of August 14, 2020, the MCHD reports 667 (7 new cases) confirmed cases, 18 probable cases, 572 recovered cases, 75 pending cases, 2,519 negative cases, 9 hospitalizations, 12 deaths, and 1 probable death of COVID-19. Currently, there are 82 active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.
