As previously announced, The Ohio Department of Health, in cooperation with The Ohio State University, are conducting a COVID-19 study around the state and are in our area this week. The purpose of the study is to see how many people currently have COVID-19 and how many people were infected in the past. The results of this study will help ODH understand the spread and impact of COVID-19 throughout the state. Additionally, this information may allow state agencies to prepare for the distribution of resources to meet local needs. An invitation letter was sent to random households across the region. Participation is completely voluntary and there is no cost to you. A team will come to the house of each person who received an invitation letter to conduct the test. Those who receive an invitation letter and do not wish to participate may contact ODH to be removed from the list.
