(7-24-20) The Mercer County Health District released updates on outbreaks in Mercer County.

Mercer County Outbreak Updates:

  • Cooper Farms’ St. Henry Processing Plant: There are 76 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mercer County who work at the plant. Of the 76 Mercer County confirmed cases, there are 6 active cases. There are 11 confirmed cases from surrounding counties. Of those 11 confirmed cases from surrounding counties, there are no active cases.
  • The Gardens of St. Henry: There are 31 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There are 14 confirmed staff members, 1 previous staff member, 15 residents, and 1 previous resident. There have been five deaths. There are no active cases.
  • The Gardens of Celina: There are 34 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There are 24 residents, 2 previous residents & 8 employees. There have been 2 deaths and 1 probable death. There are 6 active cases.
  • Briarwood Village: There are 4 confirmed cases of COIVD-19. All 4 cases are employees. There are 2 active cases.
  • Basic Grain: There are 7 confirmed cases of COVID-19. All cases are active.
  • Viewing/Funeral/Benefit There are 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There are 27 individuals from Mercer County & 14 individuals from surrounding counties. All cases are active.

Today the MCHD reported 11 new confirmed COVID 19 cases.

  • 409th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 20-30 years.
  • 410th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 30-40 years.
  • 411th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 60-70 years.
  • 412th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 60-70 years.
  • 413th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 20-30 years.
  • 414th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 20-30 years.
  • 415th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 60-70 years.
  • 416th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 20-30 years.
  • 417th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 50-60 years.
  • 418th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 30-40 years.
  • 419th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 40-50 years.

All of these individuals are self-isolating at home.

 

As of July 24, 2020, the Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 419 confirmed cases, 8 probable cases, 267 recovered cases, 135 pending cases, 1,849 negative cases, 4 hospitalizations, 10 deaths, and 1 probable death of COVID-19. Currently, there are 141 active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.
