(7-9-20) Ft. Recovery has a new Middle School Principal when the Board of Education in a Special Meeting this afternoon voted to hire Ryan Steinbrunner.  He was given a 2-year contract and will start on August 1st pending proper certification documentation from the Ohio Department of Education

Steinbrunner replaces Tony Stahl who was recently named as the new Ft. Recovery High School Principal.

Steinbrunner is a resident of Fort Recovery and he has eleven years of middle school teaching experience. Ryan simultaneously served as a substitute principal during the 2019-2020 school year.

Ryan received his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Wright State University. Additional principal licensure coursework has been completed at Ball State University. The interview committee, including middle school staff members, conducted 10 first and second round interviews for this position. A total of 23 candidates applied to come to Fort Recovery Schools. Steinbrunner has been a teacher and a coach in the Jay County (Indiana) school system.
