(6-30-20) On Monday, June 29, 2020, the Fort Recovery Board of Education voted unanimously to hire Tony Stahl as the next Fort Recovery High School Principal starting on August 1, 2020. Stahl most recently served our school community as the FR Middle School Principal from August 1, 2016 to the present. Tony has contributed to significant improvements in academic and student growth with the collaborative efforts of the entire middle school staff.
Stahl has previous 9th-12th grade experience as a high school history and language arts teacher in several school districts. Tony received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wright State University, his Master’s Degree from Miami University and he completed his post-Master’s Superintendent Licensure Coursework from the University of Dayton. The board offered him a three year contract as the high school principal, effective August 1, 2020.
Stahl is replacing Bill Overla who recently left the district to become the High School principal at Graham Local Schools in Champaign County.
