(5-23-20) The Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports five new confirmed COVID 19 cases.

There are still 118 pending cases, which could push Mercer County over the 200 in confirmed cases, today’s report pushes the total to 181.

  • 177th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 50-60 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 178th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 40-50 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 179th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 50-60 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 180th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 30-40 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 181st confirmed case is a female in the age range of 50-60 and is self-isolating at home.

May 23, 2020, the MCHD  reports 181 confirmed cases, 82 recovered cases, 118 pending cases, 518 negative cases, 11 hospitalizations, and 3 deaths of COVID-19.

Auglaize County

May 23, 2020, the Auglaize County Health Department (ACHD), reports 66 total cases (62 confirmed and 4 probable), 11 hospitalizations, 26 recovered cases, and 3 deaths of COVID-19. Of the 66 cases, 47 cases are female (71%) and 19 cases are male (29%) with an average age of 56. Data reported is cumulative over the course of this outbreak.
