(5-22-20) May 22, 2020, the MCHD reports 176 confirmed cases, 82 recovered cases, 117 pending cases, 516 negative cases, 11 hospitalizations, and 3 deaths of COVID-19.

The Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 6 new cases –

  • 171st confirmed case is a female in the age range of 20-30 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 172nd confirmed case is a female in the age range of 50-60 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 173rd confirmed case is a male in the age range of 10-20 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 174th confirmed case is a female in the age range of 10-20 years and is self-isolating at home.
  • 175th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 20-30 and is self-isolating at home.
  • 176th confirmed case is a male in the age range of 60-70 and is self-isolating at home.

MCHD continues to monitor an ongoing situation at Cooper Farms.

At this time, 52 confirmed COVID-19 cases are employed at the St. Henry Processing Plant.

There are 4 cases pending COVID-19 results. MCHD is also monitoring an outbreak at The Gardens at St. Henry.

Currently, there are 13 employees, 10 residents, and 1 previous resident who have confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Auglaize County

May 22, 2020, the Auglaize County Health Department (ACHD), reports 65 total cases (61 confirmed and 4 probable), 11 hospitalizations, 26 recovered cases, and 3 deaths of COVID-19.

Of the 65 cases, 46 cases are female (71%) and 19 cases are male (29%) with an average age of 56. Data reported is cumulative over the course of this outbreak.

  • 62nd case is a 96 year old female.
  • 63rd case is a 91 year old female.
