(3-10-20) On February 27-28, 2020, Celina High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members attended the State Leadership Conference in Columbus. Over 460 students from across Ohio were represented at the conference where students attended workshops and competed in business related contests. Celina FBLA students placed in the top 10 in 12 competitive events. Those students who placed in the top four in an event qualify to compete at the FBLA National Conference, June 29-July 2, in Salt Lake City, UT.

The following students received top ten awards:

  • Mason Heller – 3rd in Banking and Financial Systems, 7th in Political Science, and 8th in Personal Finance
  • Lauren Higgins – 1st in Job Interview, 1st in Community Service Project, and 6th in Accounting 2
  • Josh Kuehne – 5th in Accounting 1
  • Brittany Litmer – 1st in Word Processing
  • Sierra Maxwell – 1st in Community Service Project
  • Callie Mescher – 8th in Accounting 2
  • Gaven Nash – 1st in Who’s Who in FBLA, 7th in Advertising
  • Brandon Noll – 3rd in Accounting 2, 3rd in Finance, 6th in Business Calculations, and 8th in Computer Problem Solving
  • Kobey Simpson – 9th in Accounting 1
  • Nicole Warnement – 6th in Accounting 1
  • Chase Wolford – 3rd in Accounting 1, 4th in Accounting 2, 10th in Computer Problem Solving
  • Lane Wurster – 4th in Accounting 1, 9th in Business Law
  • Camden Zizelman – 10th in Accounting 2
