(2-20-20) The village of Rockford is celebrating it’s 200th birthday this year.
In recognition of this milestone, we are pleased to announce our Bicentennial Queen Pageant.

The pageant will be held April 26th at 3pm in the Parkway Auditorium. This opportunity is only available to female students residing in the Parkway School District.

The Bicentennial Committee encourages all junior & senior age young ladies, including home schooled students, to participate.

Catagories for the pageant include:

  • interview
  • talent
  • evening gown
  • essay

Applications may be picked up at the Parkway High School office or at the Rockford Village office.

There will be multiple prizes awarded including:

The Queen  – $500 courtesy of Shanes Crossing Historical Society
The 1st Runner-Up – $150 in prizes from the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, there will be prizes for the Peoples Choice Award.
