(1-25-20) – Mitch Mullins (44) of Celina was sentenced Friday in Mercer County Common Pleas Court to more than 8 1/2 years in prison. Mullins pleaded guilty in an earlier court appearance as part of an agreement with prosecutors.
Mullins was sentenced on a charge of felonious assault for theĀ beating of his wife in January of last year and being a fugitive for over 2 months after the incident. Prosecutors noted Mullins’ extensive prior criminal record.

Added to the prison time is an additional 737 days in prison because the offenses occurred while Mullins was on parole.
Mullins is presently housed in the Mercer County Correctional Facility.
