(8-27-19) Jason A. Steiss (35) Fort Wayne told police he was possessed by demons and Adolf Hitler when he killed his mother last year. The judge in the case, Allen Superior Court Judge David Zent, agrees that he is not competent to stand trial.

Stiess, who is 6-foot-7, 300-pounds, is charged with murder in the October 24, 2018 killing of his mother Joy Steiss (64) in her home after he bit, punched and choked her.
According to the Journal-Gazette story the first responding officer Stephanie Souther, said in court records that Steiss met her when she approached the home.
“I murdered my mother. I am a bad person. Kill me. I need to be put down so I don’t hurt anyone else.”

The judge’s order comes after doctors were appointed to examine him.
Steiss was sent to the Indiana Family and Social Service Administration Mental Health Division.
