(8-11-19) Mathew Converse (Chewy), a missing eight year old autistic Lima (Bath Township) boy, was found deceased in a North McCullough Street pond close to his home around 3:34pm this afternoon.
Mathew, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, was drawn to water, trains, and parks and was last seen around midnight last night wearing a shark t-shirt and Star Wars pajama pants.
A command center was set up at Schoonover Park and a large number of volunteers and local law enforcement agencies assisted in his search.
Several agencies are actively investigating his disappearance and death.
