(6-26-19) The newest member of the  Celina Mercer County Chamber of Commerce is the Mercer County/ OSU Extension Office.

Ohio State University Extension is the outreach arm of The Ohio State University. They interpret knowledge developed at Ohio State, the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, and other land grant universities. OSU Extension provides educational programming on how to use this information to solve problems—to make life better. Ohio State University Extension in Mercer County consists of programs in Agriculture and Natural Resources which includes commercial agriculture/horticulture/forestry management, recreational and urban gardening, environmental resource management and protection, risk management/marketing, farm income enhancement and guides the local Master Gardener Volunteers. 4 H/Youth Development involves youth career exploration, youth leadership and self esteem development, and youth at risk programs.
