(6-18-19) On June 16th, 2019, the Coldwater Police Department was notified of a domestic situation that had occurred on Dogwood Dr. The officer that responded was able to build enough probable cause to arrest the suspect, Scott Froning, for domestic violence.
While the officer was checking Froning’s pockets he located a container that contained 8 individual baggies with suspected methamphetamine inside.
Froning then advised of more methamphetamine inside the house. A suspected meth pipe and another large quantity of methamphetamine were recovered from inside of the house.
Froning was booked into the Mercer County Jail on a $75,000 bond. The case has been sent to the Prosecutor’s Office for more possible charges.
