May 24, 2019, Celina, OH/USA – Celina Insurance Group recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships to local 2019 graduates. The award recipients are Ashlyn Gerlach – St. Henry High School, Amy Balster – New Bremen High School, and Faith Rollins – Parkway High School. The scholarship certificates were presented to the graduating seniors during an awards reception held at Celina Insurance Group on May 23, 2019.

Ashlyn is the daughter of Eric and Jody Gerlach. She will be attending The Ohio State University – Lima this fall to pursue a major in Accounting.

Amy is the daughter of Kenneth and Karen Balster, New Bremen. She will be attending the University of Cincinnati this fall majoring in Accounting.

Faith is the daughter of Jason and Deb Rollins, Parkway. She plans to attend Purdue University Fort Wayne, majoring in Actuary Scicence.

Celina Insurance Group established the scholarship for graduating seniors pursuing a degree relating to the insurance business. Seniors in Auglaize or Mercer County or a child/grandchild of a current Celina Insurance Group employee were eligible to apply. The top three applicants were selected based on a written essay touting the benefits of property and casualty insurance in regard to promoting the economic health of the United States.
