(5-15-19) In two issues, one related to the upcoming Jeff Rasawehr jury trial happened today. One motion is to request a change of venue that was filed in the Celina Municipal Court, while the Ohio Supreme Court will hear an appeal on a First Amendment Issue in a prior trial for Rasawehr that was heard in the Mercer County Court of Appeals.
The Supreme Court wording on this trial – the appeal was one of just four out of 57 appeals to be approved for appeal by the court.
PROPOSITION OF LAW II Prior Restraints on the exercise of free speech are unconstitutional and presumptively invalid.
The motion to change venues in Municipal Court comes after the jury pool came into question for the second time in this case (see Motion) above.
