(5-9-19) Thanks to an animal that was able to sneak into a Celina solar field substation ( west of Celina on Meyer Road near State Route 29 in Celina) around 6:30 am this morning. The animal is thought to have caused the fire when it came into contact with the transformer and a very short city wide power outage occurred. The fire also gave a blink to the DP&L System, Celina gets it electric feed from them.
No financial cost for the damage is known at this time, but the damage was quite substantial.
The Celine Fire Department and Celina Utilities were on the scene for about an hour and a half.
Sorry everybody for my language, I did not know my video would get so many views and whatnot. Had just got off work pulled into the place I stay and was facebook-n it, looked through the rearview mirror and just seen the sky light up I had to go check it out!!
