(12-13-18) Early Monday morning, 12/10/2018, Celina Police officers conducted a traffic stop which lead to a series of traffic stops made with the assistance of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. These stops lead officers to develop probable cause for a search warrant of the residence of 30 year old Justin C. Tester at 430 S. Mill St. The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Assisted in obtaining the search warrant which was signed by Judge Kathryn Speelman.
As a result of the search warrant officers seized a nominal amount of powdered meth, also known as ice, along with a knife which was labeled to indicate it was intended for use against police as well as a loaded handgun.
Justin Tester was arrested and held in the Mercer County Jail on charges of Possession of Drugs, a felony of the 5th degree. Also arrested were 21 year old Dalton Wayne Carrol of Celina and 31 year old Sonya M. Sessor of Mendon. They both had outstanding warrants from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. Weapons violations are being investigated and charges are expected.
