(8-24-18) On Wednesday, 08-22-2018, at about 10:33 PM Celina Police were sent to investigate an incident in which a 20 year old Celina woman reportedly jumped from a moving vehicle.  Tim Rigdon, of Spencerville, reported that he was driving the victim, Sara Mestemaker, to a family member’s house after she had been in an argument with her boyfriend.  The boyfriend had left the two and walked away.  While in the 200 block of N. Main St. and travelling at about 25 MPH, Mestemaker reportedly exited the car in an emotional state.

Mestemaker was conscious and speaking with officers.  She had visible injuries and began to show signs of more serious medical issues.  She was transported to Coldwater Hospital and subsequently transferred to a Lima area hospital with serious injuries.  The incident remains under investigation.
