(5-15-18) Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey announced the arrest of three individuals on drug charges related to a traffic stop on Ash Street near Livingston Street in Celina.
At 5:48 PM deputies stopped a 2000 Mercury driven by Shawn Krugh, (29), from Willshire, Ohio. Sheriff’s Office K9, Franco was alerted to the vehicle. During the stop, it was apparent that Krugh was under the influence and was arrested for Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence.
Passengers inside the vehicle included, Wesley Kempton (34) of Salamonie, Indiana, and Crystal Mullins, no known address, were also arrested for possession of drugs. Suspected heroin, methamphetamines, drugs abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia were recovered from inside the vehicle.
Krugh’s bond was set at $10,000 and the bonds of Kempton and Mullins were set at $50,000 each.
All three are currently incarcerated at the Mercer County Detention Facilit. Sheriff’s Office deputies were assisted by the Heroin Interdiction Team (H.I.T.) and the Celina and Coldwater Police Departments.
