Heaven Leigh Bolinger (18-) of St. Marys died at the scene today around 3pm when an Nissan SUV driven by Charles Estle, 24, of Mendon hit her Oldsmobile broadside after she apparently failed to stop at a stop sign at U.S. 33 and south Kettlersville Road. The collision sent Bolinger’s vehicle into the median.
Estle was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital where he was treated for cuts and bruises, he has already been released.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
Members of the Buckland Fire Department extricated Bolinger from the wreckage.
Bolinger, is originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, was taken to Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta. She leaves behind a small son Axel.
It was the second St. Marys teen to lose her life in an accident on US 33, last Monday 16 year old Kennedy Schreiber was killed in an accident on 33 and Townline-Kossuth Road, both accidents on those days happened around 3pm.
