(4-8-18) This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office asks that you take a few minutes and help us in recognizing these nine women. These are the faces at the other end of the line when you need to call 9-1-1. They are calm when callers are in distress. They are able to talk people through CPR instructions while paging out fire and EMS and still answer radio traffic to ensure help gets to you in time. These women have assisted in delivering babies, locating lost family pets, and aided local law enforcement in locating information on dangerous subjects in our area.
