On Saturday March 3rd, 2018 Celina Police Patrolman Jeremy Kerr conducted a traffic stop on a red 2013 Dodge on Warren St. just off of S. Main St. The stop was for speed and failure to display a license plate. When Patrolman Kerr first attempted the stop in the 200 block of S. Main St. a white object was thrown from the car.
The driver was identified as 49 year old Steven C. Reams, 148 Meyer Rd., Celina. The passenger was identified as 26 year old Dillon E. Parlow, 1100 Myers Rd, Apt. 23, Celina.
The white object was recovered and found to be a golf ball size rock of suspected methamphetamine. It weighed approximately 34 grams. Steven Reams was arrested for possession of the Meth and held on $50,000 bond at the Mercer County Jail per Judge Speelman.
The passenger was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a summons at the scene to appear in court.
The report has been referred to the Mercer County Prosecutor, Matthew K. Fox for review and prosecution.
