(10-25-17) Decatur, Indiana Police were called Wednesday morning around 3:45 a.m. to Johnson’s Junction at 952 N. 13th St. on a report of an armed robbery pointing a handgun at the clerk and demanded cash.

The man left with an unknown amount of cash, police said. No one was hurt.

UPDATED From Indiana State Police-

The Indiana State Police in Fort Wayne is seeking the help of the general public in identifying a man who is believed to have committed several armed robberies over the last couple of weeks in both Indiana and Michigan.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10”, 170 pounds, possibly blue eyes and was wearing blue jeans, a gray pullover top with black stripes down each sleeve and black and blue colored shoes.  He entered Johnson’s Junction located in the 900 block of North 13th Street in Decatur (Adams County) this morning at approximately 3:45 a.m.  His face was partially covered and he was armed with a black-colored revolver when he demanded money from the cashier.  The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators believe this individual is responsible robbing the Speedway gas station located at 1117 W. 7th Street in Auburn on October 9th as well as gas stations and convenience stores in Peru, Indiana and Logansport, Indiana on September 30th and in Portage, Michigan and Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 10th.

State Police are urging employees of these types of businesses as well as customers and the public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity or suspicious people immediately.
