C.A.L.L. Ministries began operations in 1990. Their most well known outreach is the food pantry. In 2010 the food pantry moved to its current location, 420 N. Brandon Ave. They began providing clothing in 2012. Currently C.A.L.L. serves 525 families per month and provides thousands of pieces of clothing. The organization also has a backpack program, packing 11,000 bags with meals for children in every district in the county. Students who participated in the backpack program are eligible for the summer meals program as well. Another outreach effort is the C.A.L.L. Cafe, which is open every Tuesday. Volunteers from local churches and service organizations cook and serve the meals. Between 30 and 35 families attend these dinners. C.A.L.L. also has a program that enables people to trade work for items such as appliances. From humble beginnings, C.A.L.L. Ministries has grow into to a force for good in the area.
