(8-15) On August 11th, a Celina man, Michael Posada, 36, was charged with having plates belonging to another vehicle on his vehicle following a traffic stop by the New Bremen Police Department.
According to New Bremen Police Chief Mike Skinner, an officer observed a vehicle driven by Posada, which was towing another vehicle on Amsterdam Road near the intersection with Schwieterman Street next to Pizza Hut. The car dolly didn’t have operating brake lights and was dragging on the road.
During the stop, a K-9 from the Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office, indicated there were narcotics in the vehicle. Officers found marijuana, crystal meth and other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The items have been sent to a laboratory for testing. Additional charges could be filed once the test results are received.
The incident remains under investigation.
