On Friday, June 2, 2017, the St. Marys Police Department arrested Chad A. Ralston, age 39, of 95 North Main Street Minster, Ohio. At approximately 1:30 PM, the police department received a call regarding a male subject who had exposed himself to children in the Armstrong Park area of the City. This was quickly followed by a second call reporting a male subject exposing himself to children at the Kiwanis Park located on Beech Street in St. Marys. The reports alleged that the male subject was attempting to entice the children with fidget spinners and when they approached he exposed himself to them.
Officers searched the area and were able to share a description of Ralston and his vehicle with local law enforcement agencies and on social media. This description lead to information provided by the Minster Police Department that lead to Ralston’s arrest.
Ralston has been incarcerated in the Auglaize County Jail for Importuning a Felony of the third degree and Public Indecency a Misdemeanor of the first degree.
