(10-27-26) Miss Lake Festival Caitlin Nuding recently visited with Fort Recovery’s 2nd graders.
We read Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun and talked about kindness, confidence, perseverance, and being proud of what makes you different. I loved hearing their thoughts, answering their questions, and of course letting everyone try on the crown!
“Spaghetti in a Hot Dog Bun” is a children’s book by Maria Dismondy that tells the story of Lucy, a girl who embraces her uniqueness despite facing bullying for her unconventional eating habits. The narrative emphasizes themes of courage, kindness, and self-acceptance.
