LaGrange County, IN – The Indiana State Police Cold Case Team is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the shooting of Rocky Swihart near Stroh Indiana in August of 2015.

Sometime between 9:15 am and 10:15 am on Friday August 21st, 2015, Rocky Swihart was at his home on East 350 South near Stroh Indiana in Lagrange County. A vehicle pulled into his driveway and a male exited the vehicle. After a conversation with the suspect Mr. Swihart turned to go back into his house. When he did, the suspect pulled a gun and shot him in the head. Mr. Swihart received severe injuries but survived the attack.

The Indiana State Police Cold Case Team is requesting any information that would help in identifying the shooter. Attached are police artists images of the suspect and his vehicle. Both of these images are from descriptions that Mr. Swihart gave. If you have any information on who shot Rocky Swihart please contact the Indiana State Police Cold Case Team.
