(9-14-26) Democrat Ohio Gubernatorial Candidate Amy Acton issued an official press release condemning Laura Loomer and her factual reporting about her drinking issues, which is all backed up by FOIA requested documents obtained by Loomered Strategies.

OPEN LETTER to @amyactonoh and the Ohioans for Amy Acton campaign committee: On September 8, 2026, your campaign accused allies of
@VivekGRamaswamy and the @OhioGOP of “amplifying conspiracy theorists,” and Amy’s running mate @DavidPepper called me a “fringe conspiracy theorist” while branding the reporting at issue “dangerous misinformation” and “malicious lies.”
That is false and dangerous!
The facts are in the Bexley Police Department records that @LoomeredStrat exclusively obtained and reported.

Those records name Amy S. Acton and Eric R. Acton. The call note says “mom had been drinking, throwing things, and breaking glass.” The field interview says Amy pulled a mirror down and shattered it; went to the garage to leave in her car until her husband stopped her; both had been drinking.
The report also noted that Amy had taken an unknown amount of prescription medication while she was intoxicated, prompting medics to respond. The Medics advised her to go to the hospital; she refused.
Public police records are not a conspiracy. Reporting what Bexley PD wrote is not a “malicious lie.”
By telling Ohioans that coverage of these official narratives is “dangerous misinformation” and “malicious lies,” your campaign is itself spreading dangerous misinformation, the kind that teaches voters to distrust authentic police documentation. Amy’s statement does not just smear a journalist. It undermines the Bexley Police Department, whose officers took the call, wrote the interview, and created a public record Ohioans are entitled to know about, as it is a record of fact.
Amy Acton wants to be Governor of Ohio while she accuses a Bexley Police Department file of being a “fringe conspiracy” so the public never has to face what the department recorded about what happened inside Amy Acton’s home.
I demand that within 24 hours you:
1. Remove or correct the Sept. 8 statement in which you accuse the Bexley PD’s documented facts and my reporting of being conspiracy, misinformation, and lies.
2. Apologize for misleading Ohioans and for casting doubt on the legitimacy of Bexley PD’s own records.
3. State plainly that Call 19-10872 and Field Interview 19BEX-10872-FI are authentic and are not a “fringe conspiracy theory.”
Stop attacking the police record!
